"A bombard is a medieval cannon. A heavyweight weapon specially designed to make a difference during the siege of fortified bastions. At Bombard in 2026, we’ve opted for a peaceful approach, but be warned: our sound cannons can certainly knock your socks off."
Engineered to lead the way in the future of audio performance
The OB1 – our open baffle numero uno – combines vintage elements with a sleek design. The fully integrated digital system brings graceful listening pleasure into your living room. It is crafted from natural materials in accordance with circular design principles, meaning that upgrades, maintenance and repairs are integral to the concept. A high-quality product built to provide generations of listening pleasure.
Design, prototyping and testing takes place at the workshop in Ronse, Belgium. The two product engineers on this project, Loïc De Buck and Stijn Dauwe, meticulously refine every detail until the result fits the dream.
Arts&Crafts
At Bombard, the materials are as much a part of the speaker as the technology inside it. We cast our own brass components, giving us control over the process from raw material to finished piece. The subtle variations created during casting give every component its own character, before it is carefully finished to reveal the warmth and depth of the metal.
Alongside brass, we use carefully selected oak for its natural beauty, durability, and timeless character. Each piece has its own grain and subtle variations, ensuring that no two speakers are completely identical. Brass and oak were chosen not simply for their appearance, but because they age beautifully, developing character rather than becoming dated.

Modern technology, quietly integrated
The technology is deliberately kept in the background. There are no complicated interfaces or unnecessary features competing for attention. Select your music, press play, and let the speakers do the rest.
Designed to last
We believe a high-end loudspeaker should not be a disposable piece of technology. Bombard speakers are designed as objects you can live with for many years, both technically and aesthetically.
That philosophy influences everything from the solid materials and construction methods to the way the electronics are integrated. Rather than hiding craftsmanship behind plastic shells and short-lived trends, we celebrate materials that can develop a patina, be refinished, and tell the story of how they have been used.
The result is something between an instrument, a piece of furniture, and a precision machine. Built with purpose, made to be seen, and designed to keep bringing music into the room for years to come.
